Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Apibeary (apibeary.com), an invite-only, informational market-signals service operated by Heronward LLC, doing business as Apibeary, a Florida limited liability company. By creating an account or minting an API token you're agreeing to them. They're short on purpose — read them.

1. What Apibeary is — and is not

Apibeary runs automated "scouts" that read public sources — SEC filings, contract awards, Fed language, macro data, market behavior — and turn them into flags with sources and conviction scores.

Everything on Apibeary is information, not advice. Flags are sourced observations. We never tell you to buy, sell, trim, or avoid anything. Apibeary is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, has no fiduciary duty to you, and doesn't know your situation. Decisions — and their outcomes — are yours. If you want advice, talk to someone licensed to give it.

2. No guarantees

Signals can be wrong, late, incomplete, or missing. Sources change and scrapes break. The live signal stream is young (recording since May 2026) and the scout roster changes as we test and learn. Nothing here — including paper track records — predicts future results.

3. Your account

Invites are personal: one account per person, keep your login method secure, and give us a real email we can reach. You're responsible for what happens under your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or jeopardize other members.

4. Acceptable use

Use the dashboard and API for yourself (or your own bot). Don't: resell or republish the feed, hammer past the API rate limits, probe or attack the service, scrape around the API, or use Apibeary for anything unlawful. API tokens are per-user — minting one means accepting these terms.

5. Market data

Live prices on Apibeary are licensed from Tiingo, Inc. — Market Data from Tiingo.com. You're licensed to read them here. Reselling, redistributing, republishing, or passing that market data to anyone else — including into a service you run for other people — falls outside what the licence allows, ours or yours.

Export is for your own research: take the prices for one ticker, or a few, to check our math or run your own study. Bulk pulls of the price feed, or a mirror of a whole market, are a different thing and stay off-limits.

When your account ends — you close it, or we close it — stop using any market data you exported, and delete it. The licence rides with the account, so it leaves when the account does. (That mirrors what our own market-data licence asks of us; we pass the same terms through, unchanged.)

6. Brokerage connections

Optional and read-only. We can see what you choose to share so the app can flag your holdings; we cannot trade or move money — the capability doesn't exist here. Handling of that data is covered by the Privacy Policy.

7. Fees

Apibeary is free while invite-only. If that ever changes you'll get clear notice first, and these terms will gain a billing section before a card is ever charged.

8. As-is

Apibeary is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows: we are not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service or its signals. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while Apibeary is free, is zero.

10. Leaving

You can delete your account anytime (Settings → Close account) — it erases your data immediately. We can terminate accounts as described in section 3.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes get emailed to account holders. Using Apibeary after a change means you accept the new version.

12. Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
